New search function!
One of our most requested features is now live!
Since we launched Explorify we have had an overwhelming number of requests for a search function. Well, we listened and have now launched a brand new search! With over 200 brilliant activities to choose from we think this new feature will make your lives easier and enhance your Explorify experience. So, you can now use keywords to search for new activities or to find your favourite activities again. We’ve also made the filters faster and more useful by allowing you to choose particular activity types (for all the Zoom In Zoom Out aficionados!), for example. Or, you could choose to only see activities that are new to you, or just activities you’ve already marked as done and want to revisit!
As the User Experience Designer for Explorify, my job is to make sure teachers can sign up easily and quickly access the activities that are most relevant to them. It’s not just about our new teachers though, and we want to make it as easy as possible for our existing teachers to find fresh and exciting activities at every stage of their Explorify journey, continuing to engage and challenge children to build on those critical scientific thinking skills.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be finding out they key terms you’re searching for and making sure you find appropriate activities, but if you do have any problems, questions or feedback I would love to hear from you! Send me an email or post in our Facebook Staffroom.
Over the summer we’ll move our focus to your curriculum – whether you teach in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland we will make sure you see activities that are relevant to your curriculum objectives through a more personalised experience. We’d love to hear any thoughts or feedback on this, so don’t hesitate to send us an email or post in the Facebook Staffroom!
