Of our nine different activity types, this one’s a consistent favourite. Watch our video and see why.
Two pupils choosing their Odd One Out. Everyone will get a chance to decide for themselves and explain their answers.
Odd One Out encourages pupils to explore the similarities and differences in any three images, inspiring critical and lateral thinking skills. Teachers love it because it’s a tried-and-tested activity format, recognised by pupils. The difference with our version is that any of the images could be the odd one out. It’s all about what perspective you take.
Our digital activity means you won’t need any additional materials, but that doesn’t mean you can’t tailor it to suit your pupils’ needs! One of our teachers used hula-hoops and printed-out images for his Year 3 class, as you’ll see in the video.
